We have a great opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our ambitious HR team.  In this role you will provide HR advice and guidance to all departments and ensure efficient and effective operational execution of people related processes.

You have strong communication and collaboration skills with which you are able to build relationships at all level with the business. PART-TIME (32 hrs) · AMSTERDAM HQ . Reports to the Global HRD Manager

Main tasks and responsibilities

Manage HR policies and procedures (35%)

  • To develop, implement, execute and evaluate the personnel policies, procedures and practices and the development of the HR function.
  • To maintain existing compensation and benefits policies in line with current legislation and best practice.
  • To proactively identify HR trends and translate these to the Joolz organization


Advise and support management (40%)

  • To provide support in relation to all Employee Relations Issues
  • To support the management with the delivery of cyclical HR activities, including Performance & Compensation Planning cycles and Talent and Development initiatives
  • To advise line managers in all aspects of the recruitment and selection and induction processes, including participating in selection interviews where needed


HR Planning and Projects (25%)

  • To prepare and draw up the HR annual operating plan
  • To prepare and draw up the learning and development plan in collaboration with the management team
  • To initiate, lead and implement HR projects

Requirements for this job

  • A Bachelor/Master degree in Human Resources
  • 3 – 6 years working experience in a relevant role
  • A proficient level of both Dutch and English
  • Resilience and a proven track record of working as an HR advisor within a fast paced constantly changing international environment
  • Sound up to date knowledge of Dutch Employment Law
  • Ability to effectively multi task
  • Sound judgment and decision-taking
  • Ability to challenge managers where required
  • Ability to stay calm in pressure situations
  • Customer service oriented “can do “approach
  • Strong team player
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
