Joolz is a fast-growing Dutch company from Amsterdam (founded in 2004) that designs and manufactures ergonomic pushchairs and accessories. Our stylish and comfortable pushchairs are designed around the needs of the human body of both parent and child. To support our growth in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan we are looking for a Jr. Account Manager for Greater China.

ABOUT THE JOB

As Junior Account Manager you are responsible for training, demonstrating and (visual) merchandising Joolz products according to Joolz standards to increase the sell through of our products to retailer and consumer. You will work closely together with the Joolz sales team, retailer stores and share market input, trends and important store related information. Next to that you will support the daily operations of Joolz in greater China and look for new opportunities to grow the business.

RESULT FIELDS

  • Implement, execute product training programs at store level.
  • Advise store employees and retailers about Joolz product offering and visual merchandising of store according to Joolz standards. 
  • Ensure that the Joolz product portfolio stays up to date at stores.
  • Prepare, execute and evaluate store visits according to set standards.
  • Act as a link between the Joolz sales/marketing team and retailers by providing input about market feedback & trends.
  • Sell at our retailers (demo days), demonstrate at fairs and events according to Joolz sales strategy and standards.
  • Organise and participate in “retailer events”.
  • Instigate promotional activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge and experience

  • An university graduate in any discipline, preferably in Business/Marketing discipline or equivalent.
  • Ideally >1 year retail or training experience.
  • General understanding of branding, high end customer and retail requirements.
  • Willingness to travel, within China (ca 50%) and intercontinental (ca 1-2 times a year).
  • Ms Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 5 days per week.
  • During fairs and events, weekend and evening work is also required.


Personal characteristics

  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, verbal and in writing.
  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating.
  • Ability to train and inspire people.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
