Product Engineer; product life cycle

Being responsible for Joolz sustaining product development, supported by the Joolz team, you will constantly look to options how to improve our product quality look, feel, performance and reliability. Product development at JOOLZ is a highly integrated effort. Teams of skilled product developers work together from their individual expertise to achieve full integration of form and function. Besides that you will work closely with our manufacturers, quality control, compliance and service centres.



            • Assure premium product quality in performance and customer interaction
    • Design and engineer improvements on products that are currently in the JOOLZ product port-folio
    • Analyse reported market defects and wishes and production issues and requests
    • Analyze product defects, define the cause and solve the issue in the product
    • Create, modify and maintain technical 2D and 3D CAD files
    • Manage product validation: test solution proposals and define actions
      • Assure that the products meet the Joolz and norm requirements
    • Work in a cross-functional team composed of manufacturer, quality manager, compliance manager, designer, product marketing manager, service.

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master Degree in engineering: mechanical engineering or industrial design
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in the field of product / quality engineering
  • You have experience in working with manufacturers and or within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with development of plastic injection moulded parts, aluminium extrusion and surface finishing techniques
  • Proficient with 3D CAD software (e.g. Solidworks, ProE, Unigraphics)
  • You have a good combination of practical & analytical skills
  • You have experience in managing multiple projects in a cross disciplinary setting
  • You are willing to travel up to 2-3 times a year to China
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
